Day 1 : A full overview of  Bordeaux appellations

  • from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm: "Week-End des Grands Amateurs" tasting, organised by the Union des Grands Crus (around 50 tasted and commented wines)
  • 8.15 pm: Gala dinner in Château TROPLONG-MONDOT, 1er Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion (as part of the "Week-end des Grands Amateurs").
  • 0.15 am: back to Bordeaux

Day 2 : Graves, Pessac-Leognan and SauternesChâteau Coutet

  • 11.00 am: visit and tasting at Château OLIVIER, Cru Classé of Graves

Day 5: Bordeaux

      Morning: Horse ride in Entre-Deux-Mers

  • 9.30 am: departure for a ride of 18 kms (very good riders) which led us to Rauzan and back through Naujan et Postiac and Saint-Aubin de Branne
  • 12.30 pm: lunch at the village inn of Naujan et Postiac

      Afternoon: Discovering Saint-Emilion by carPaysage de Saint-Emilion

  • 2.30 pm: driving tour through Saint-Emilion and neighbouring appellations vineyards
  • 3.30  pm: Visit and tasting at Château de PRESSAC, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
  • 5.00 pm: tasting at Château LE CHATELET, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Day 2

      Morning: walking tour in the Sauternes vineyard

  • 9.00 am: meeting at the Rauzan co-operative winery and departure for Sauternes
  • 9.30 am: 9 kms long walk along the roads and vineyards tracks, discovering the most famous chateaux of the appellation
  • 12.00 pm: Lunch at l'Auberge des Vignes in the village of Sauternes
  • 2.00 pm: visit and tasting at Château GUIRAUD, 1er Classed Growth of Sauternes
