Starting from the medieval castle of Rauzan, we will walk around on the western part of the village's plateau,  discovering here and there a nice view on the castle, an old windmill, a nice washing place, pigeon houses (there are plenty of it around),  several hundred years old hamlets built in freestone (most of them provided by the castle demolition)  or rubble stones, the old Rauzan cemetery and the old romanesque village church.

This region still is very agricultural: cornfields in vales and coombs, vine plots on the plateau, forests on slopes will surround us for this countryside walk.
